Indian Ocean Tsunamis

My heart goes out to all of those who have been hurt by the Indian Ocean Tsunamis. Not just physically, but those who have lost loved ones or don't know if they will ever see someone again.

You know, living in America, I think it is difficult to relate to something like this. We've never had something like this happen. We've had 9/11, which was terrible, don't get me wrong, but this is like 26 9/11's, all in less than twenty minutes, with no one to blame or retaliate against.

It saddens me every time I open up my little Firefox browser and look at CNN (which is my homepage). When it first happened, it was a little blurb to the right that said 11,000 had died. Then that number went to 20,000, then to 28,000 then to 60,000, and now, as I look at CNN, it is at 80,000. What is even more unsettling is that they are predicting the number to continue to rise.

I guess all we can do is wait and hope.

Re-energized

So, I am reading some technology people's blogs (yes, I know that I am a geek) and decided I should have one too, so I can be cool (and a geek).

Well, this is Christmas break so there is not much to talk about. I got an automatic start for Christmas and got it installed today. It is very cool. No more cold car or putting coat and shoes on to go start the car, taking coat and shoes off to come in eat breakfast and brush teach, put coat and shoes back on and go to school. That part will be nice.

Anyway, Christmas was very good. I had an awesome time hanging out with my cousins. We played a little pool and apparently Matt is very good, that is annoying (since I am not). Then we came home and I slept.

Anyway, I'm lazy and I think this is enough. This would be easier if I had any type of a memory. I guess I could come and do this when stuff happens, but that requires work and I don't like that. I have BPA work to do but haven't done any of it yet. I am in so much trouble with that. I should have a presentation done by the end of break and I don't even know where my CEG sheets are. Anyway, I am going to go now get something to drink because I am thirsty. Adios!

P.S. Stay tuned for New Year's updates. I think it will be interesting.
