Stupid Stapler

Today, in English, our review was due. I had mine but hadn't stapled it yet so the girl next to me said that there was one up by the printer. I go up there only to find this heavy-duty, industrial warehouse stapler sitting there chained to the table. I pick it up and try like four or five different ways to staple my paper but a staple never comes out. I look up to see the entire class just staring at me. Not knowing what to say, I ask, "Does anybody know how to use this thing?" and my English teacher comes over and turns it around and puts a staple in my paper with relative ease. Yeah, it was embarrassing.

Colts Game

Who's going to the October 17th Colts game? I think that's ME!!! Leaving school the 17th at 4, get to Indy by 6, dinner, game at 8, sleep, leave for home at 8 the next morning, in plenty of time for me to get to my 1:30 class. It's wonderful when things work out so amazingly! Everything would work out amazing to the extreme if they were still undefeated when I saw them (they should be able to beat the Titans and the 49ers. If they don't that's just sad.).

Hmmm...

I'm bored and these things are my addiction at the moment.

Cold. Cold. Oh so cold. And by cold, I mean 63º and windy, which, to most people is just chilly, but to me, it's cold. Why didn't I go to school in the south or on the West Coast, I don't fit in with Indiana.

I Never Thought I Would Say This...

I love tests! Not because they're tests, but because on test days I get out of class 25 minutes earlier than I'm supposed too. I think it's pretty cool.

Rain, Rain

It's raining here. It's raining a lot. It has been raining for a long time. I hope it stops soon, Melanie and Shannon need to get back to their dorms and I don't want them to get wet.

My First Comic

This morning was an exciting morning. I woke up and went, with Mike and Dave, to Vons on State St. We went downstairs and I bought my first comic book. That's right. I actually bought a comic book myself. I'm not going to have to wait until Kyle gets it. I am going to be able to read it whenever I want. I realize that I am a dork, but this is kind of exciting.

Back at Purdue

I'm back at Purdue now but being home for Labor Day Weekend was so awesome! The family gathering Sunday was a lot of fun, especially seeing my cousin from Florida who I hardly ever see. It was great to see everybody this weekend that I have missed for three weeks! I know it wasn't that long but it was great to see everybody again! Thanks guys for making it such a great weekend!
